February 2, 2024: For several nights, starting on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, about a dozen taggers swarmed the $1 billion Oceanwide Plaza in downtown Los Angeles, covering the three towers in graffiti. Police cited numerous people and reportedly arrested two. Construction of the mixed-use complex on the corner of S. Figueroa Street and W. 11th Street stalled in 2019 when funding ran out.
