A delicate glass enclosure has been inserted in the courtyard of a Grade-I listed Nash terrace house in Regent's Park, creating a new light-filled interior space with views through a glass wall to a new walled garden. A pool is set in the garden and extends below the glass wall of the enclosure; the floor above it is made of glass to give views of the pool's depth. The courtyard is surrounded by high walls and before conversion the adjacent rooms suffered from lack of light and stimulus. Wider openings in the walls have allowed the interiors to merge with the glass enclosure, creating a light and stimulating space.
