CLONING DOLLY
Vertical cloning (Dolly). Representation of reproductive vertical cloning. We take a cell of the ewe A of which we keep the nucleus (genetic code). We take an ovum of the ewe B of which we keep the cytoplasm. In a test tube, under the effect of an electric discharge, the nucleus will merge with the cytoplasm of the other cell. The embryo aged a few days is implanted into the uterus of a surrogate mother. After a few months, we obtain a ewe (Dolly) identical to a ewe A which has given its genetic code.
