Kirkut (Jewish cemetery), with graves dating back to the sixteenth century. One of Poland's oldest Jewish cemeteries, situated on the hillside, contains over 2,000 headstones and occupies area of 4 hectares. Matzeva is a Jewish tombstone. The word matzeva originates from Hebrew word masseba, which means a monument, from the root "Yud-Sade-Bet"
