World famous relief of a Rhodian warship which is cut into the rockface at the begining of the steps leading to the acropolis


Lindos on the Greek Island of Rhodes in the Dodecanese is a town and famous archaeological excavation site . A major destination for tourist offering wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. At the foot of the steps leading to the acropolis is a relief of a Rhodian relief dates back to 180 BC. the work of sculptor Pythokritos.
