During a recent tour of the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC), high school science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) teachers from across the tour the command’s Warfighter Performance Laboratory. The visiting teachers learned first-hand how NHRC addresses the unique challenges of today’s military through research that focuses on sleep and fatigue, extreme environmental conditions, improving human performance, and injury recovery and rehabilitation.
