During his first year as a conference preacher, on the 24thof April, 1848, Benjamin Pilsbury was married to Miss Chandler, only daughter of Theophilus Chandler, ofMiddletown, Conn., and sister of the late Rev. T B. Chandler,of the New York East Conference. Two children have beenborn to them—a son and a daughter. The son, Benjai?iinChandler, was graduated at the Wesleyan University in 1875,taught Latin and Greek in two conference seminaries, studiedin Yale Theological Seminary, and is now a member of theNew York East Conference.
