An air pistol, Johann Eich in Bad Homburg, dated 1735. Round barrel with a brass lined bore in 10 mm calibre, the signature, " A. HOMBURG" engraved on the barrel rib, and scrollwork engraved on the breech. Engraved flintlock with an additional signature. Lightly carved walnut stock with engraved brass furniture. The butt stock with screw-on air reservoir are contemporary and fit, but presumably not original. Wooden ramrod with horn tip. Length 52 cm.
