Not a large but a beau- tiful flower, distinct from all others, due to the petals being deeply cleft, more so than in any variety, this giving it a lacinated, yes, really a fringed appearance. One of the best of the narrow petalled Cactus varieties, the large flowers are produced on strong stems, and are of a most delicate lavender- pink color with white suffusion. One of the best for cutting, the color being of a tint that is universally ad- mired; the flowers have wonderful lasting qualities. $ each. A splendid exhibition variety of a creamy white, with just a faint apple-blossom suffusion; flowers of gigantic size, over 8 inches in diameter, and on strong, stiff stems, petals long and pecularly twisted and curled. A variety which we unhesitatingly recommend as of unusual merit. $ each.
