Half of South Lodge, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex is the current home of the Burtons' St Leonards Society.


Souith Lodge, in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex, was built by the late Georgian early Victorian property developer James Lodge stands at the entrance to Tapshaw Valley, in and around which Burton created his unique residential park. The park was originally private and later became a subscription garden and finally opened to the public in the 1880s. The Burtons' St Leonards Society currently occupy the left hand side of the building, the opposite side being a private residence.
