Red-eyed tree frog

Red-eyed tree frog (Agalychnis callidryas) resting on a branch. This frog's third eyelid, or nictitating membrane, is covered with golden veins, which are thought to provide camouflage. It is transparent, allowing them to detect the presence of nearby predators during rest.
