Five years later he placedin successful operation the Valley mill, at StaffordHollow. Conn., of which he was superintendentand also part owner, and upon the sale of his interestin the property to his partners. Moses Harvey andElijah , he assumed the duties of agent ofthe Panola mill, at Rockville, which mill was thefirst on the stream at that place.
