Light micrograph of prostate cancer. This is a high-grade (aggressive) cancer (Gleason score 4+4=8). The tumor is composed of small distorted fused glands with abortive lumina. The cells have foamy, pale eosinophilic cytoplasm. A few entrapped benign glands with darker basophilic nuclei are present.
