Attired in colorful bird-feather head dresses and sporting face paintings of traditional Simbu designs, the villagers of Warabena turn out with great pride to present a cultural performance for visitors. It's part of an Eastern Highlands Provincial Government project to develop cultural tourism in villages otherwise dependent only upon subsistance farming, Asaro District, near Goroka, Papua New Guinea.
