Handcoloured copperplate drawn and engraved by John Curtis for his own British Entomology, being Illustrations and Descriptions of the Genera of Insects found in Great Britain and Ireland, London, 1834. Curtis (1791 –1862) was an entomologist, illustrator, engraver and publisher.
