Lampropeltis Getula, also called the Common Kingsnake. This one is native to the Prescott area of Arizona. It is not venomous or dangerous to humans, but it is good for pest control because this snake eats rats, mice, and other snakes including Rattlesnakes. I found this one in my garage, probably looking for rats and mice to eat.
