I ronton Founded The Ohio Iron and Coal Company was incorporated in March, 1849,and on the third of the following May its directors resolved that JohnCampbell, C. Uriggs and W. 1). Kelley he authorized to lay out a townon the lands of the company above the mouth of Storms Creek, forthe purpose of encouraging the erection of manufacturing establish-ments and other purposes connected with the operation of the company;that said town shall lie called [ronton; that suitable grounds shall be ; ?<« *0*.
