The Buchheim Museum is located north of Bernried in Höhenried Park, directly on the banks of Lake Starnberg.
The museum, which was built specially for the collections of the painter, photographer, publisher, art writer and novelist Lothar-Günther Buchheim (architect: Günter Behnisch), lies to the north of Bernried on the shore of Lake Starnberg .
