In order to isolate the building and seize the high value individual, Iron Troop, 3rd Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment, must complete battle drill six by entering each building on the objective and clearing the rooms in a systematic manner. Sgt. Matthew Solan, fire team leader, 3rd Platoon, Iron Troop, 3/2CR, returns fire while executing a room clearing in Norio, Georgia, Aug. 9, 2018. Though the HVI was not found in the initial building as suspected, it was instrumental to the success of the mission - becoming a centralized casualty collection point on the objective.
