(Sept. 5, 2022) A Navy officer assigned to the “Sunliners” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 81, dsiembarks an F/A-18 Super Hornet during a homecoming onboard Naval Air Station Oceana. VFA 81, attached to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1, completed a nine-month deployment onboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group in support of naval operations to maintain maritime stability and securityt.
