Marshfield weir in full winter flood number 3805.

Unlike the Somerset levels, the South Wales levels have been designed to keep or lose water at a regulated rate. Designed by Dutch engineers the whole area is a series of linked reens, flowing into this reen where it is regulated by raising and lowering the weir.
