Keller Sons had a record Easter trade. They decorated for a large out- of-town wedding Tuesday, April 6. The Rochester Florists' Association was responsible for a unique decoration at the Rochester Newswriters' Club banquet, held April 10 at the Powers hotel. The approach to the hall was made through a giant submarine. The hall was decorated in greenish-blue tints to represent the deep sea and the sight was a weird one. From the ceiling hung immense fish, with eyes electri- cally lighted, made lifelike in appear- ance by the use of electric fans. The marble pillars were covered with Flor- ida moss and wound with weird-looking sea serpents, starfishes and mermaids. At the back of the speakers' table was a wrecked hull at the bottom of the sea. The bow was labeled "Empire State Democracy," and in the stern was a jagged hole made by a subma- rine torpedo. The tables were deco- rated with centerpieces of rock covered with moss, over which crept a large red lobster.
