A horse dealer is grooming the matted tail hairs on his black and white gypsy horse ready for a possible sale. A Royal Charter dating back to 1476, has allowed people for over 500 years to descend on the Gloucestershire Cotswold market town of Stow-on-the-Wold for the May and October one day bi-annual gypsy gathering of the Stow Horse Fair. Today the modern fair still consists of the public and horse dealers buying and selling horses, especially the now popular black and white gypsy cob horse, as well as many market store holders selling country goods, fashion clothing and equestrian equipment.
