He received education at academicalschools in Warren, Mass., and Ellington, Conn. Hewas a successful and prominent manufacturer ofsatinets and wool cassimeres in Stafford was a genial and honorable man; an expert inthe business in which he was engaged. He greatlyenjoyed meeting his friends, and ever looked on thebright side of life.
