De Kauw stripped of his borrowed springs, 1813, William Heath, 1813 print Bartlepent on Napoleon after his loss in the Battle of Leipzig, 1813. Four large eagles (Russia, Prussia, Austria and Sweden) pick the feathers of a chew with the head of Napoleon. The chew had decorated with these peacock springs. Three winged crowns (Poles, Bohemia and Spain) fly away. In the background, a Russian Kozak pierces two French soldiers with his lance.
