He was twice a member of theHarvard debating team against Yale, and coached two Harvard Debating Teamsagainst Princeton. After finishing at Harvard he was elected as assistant toDr. John W. Cook, president of the De Kalb Normal School, 1899-1906, devotingmost of his time to the field of psychology and pedagogy. He
