A Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron (HMM) 161 CH-46D helicopter is being lifted by a cargo hook onto a Dock Landing Ship at Thien Shaw's deep water pier near Danang. HMM-161 is redeploying as part of the Phase IV withdrawal of Forces from Vietnam. The Squadron, having been stationed in Vietnam for nearly four years, will be assigned to the Marine Corps Air Station in Santa Ana, California.
