To the southward upon the elevation occu-pied by the Pennsylvanians, an equestrianstatue of Major-Gcneral Anthony Waynewas dedicated upon June 20, 1908. One mileeastward is a modest marker erected by theState of Maine to the soldiers of that sectionserving with Massachusetts troops.
