An air rifle with a screw-on butt stock, and interchangeable barrels, Samuel Staudenmayer, London, circa 1820/30. The rifle barrel has nine flat lands with a right-hand twist in mm calibre. It is octagonal at the breech, then round. Iron folding rear sight, silver front sight. There are vine engravings and the gun maker's signature, "Staudenmayer - London" on the breech.
