An imperial uhlan's cigarette case. From the possessions of a uhlan from the "2. Pommersches Ulanen-Regiment Nr. 9" located in Demmin. Inside stamped with "800" and crescent and crown. Finely chased on front and back of case with signatures of the officers and at front coat of arms of the 9th Uhlans. The names can be found in the rank list of the Prussian army of 1914. Size 8 x 9 cm. Included is a brass souvenir match safe.
