The situation should be warm and sheltered. For an early supply sow in January or February in hotbeds, plenty of ventilation being necessary. In May they may be sown outdoors Successive sowings should be made every two weeks Rapid Forcing. This grand variety resembles the White-Tipped Scarlet Turnip Radish, but is much earlier, coming to maturity in twenty-two days from the time of sowing, and having very small tops ; â will prove to be the Radish for forcing purposes. Being very handsome and of fine quality, it is equally desirable for the garden. Pkt. 5 cts. oz. 10 cts., lb. $1, Ne Plus Ultra Turnip. The quickest-maturing Radish ever introduced, and quite invaluable for first crops. It is of a deep scarlet color, very handsome, finest of the scarlet turnip class.
