This doctor from Holland worked alone in a rural mission hospital in Kenya providing medical attention for everyone and everything. Leprosy, aids, pregnant women, deliveries, butchered abortions, malaria, cholera, broken bones, deformities while his wife aided with all phsycological matters. It was a family teamwork that offered little if any financial rewards. Something much like Doctors Without Borders.
