A white tiger swimming in a zoo in Lanzarote, Canary Islands. The white tiger is a variant of the Bengal tiger, Siberian tiger and hybrids of the two. It is also known as the White Bengal Tiger (Panthera tigris) and is found throughout the Indian subcontinent.
