The bulbs cost but a trifle more than ordinary mixed hya- cinths in separate colors, but give much better satisfaction, as they bloom evenly and at one time while the mixed hyacinths, no matter how carefully selected, bloom more or less irregularly and unevenly. This °rade'of bulbs will also force very satisfactorily, but, of course, will not produce quite as large spikes or as fine blooms'as the Finest Named offered above, which are the finest and largest selected bulbs; but for those who want a medium-priced hyacinth these will be found to be very satisfactory, even for forcing, although we recommend them particularly for beddta" for which purpose they are much preferable to mixed hyacinths.
