The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Reagan was born in Tampico, Illinois and moved to Dixon in 1920, a community he called his hometown. He attended Dixon High School and Eureka College in Illinois and even broadcasted Chicago Cubs baseball games in 1932.
