150 Year Anniversary since Napoleon III, French Imperial Family in-exile arrived at Camden Place, Kent, UK Picture shows Eliza Prentice cleaning one of the Dining Room mirrors in a room which the oak panelling came from Chateau de Bercy. The Dining Room was rumoured to have been built especially to fit the french panelling inside Camden Place in Chiselhurst , Kent. Once the home of French Emperor Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte, Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie after being deposed in 1870 and both moving to England arriving in Kent in 1871, where they lived at Camdan Place until his death in 1873. His wife, Eugenie, the daughter of a Spanish nobleman, Count of Teba, bore him their only legitimate son, The Prince Imperial, and heir to the Empire.
