BAAMREX, held at the Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Atlantic facilities, is an exercise designed for 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing command staff to rehearse and execute Tactical Air Command Center operations in a simulated combat environment. “This is my first time seeing the [Tactical Air Command Center] in action and it’s really neat to see how the guys on the ship support the guys on the ground, and in the air from there. Sometimes we get caught up in the green side aspect of things and the Navy gets caught up in the blue side aspect, so this exercise will help us see each other’s jobs and roles,” said Bronza. Specifically, BAAMREX is an opportunity for Marines of 2nd MAW, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, 2nd Marine Division, and Sailors from Expeditionary Strike Group 2 and other units to rehearse key events of Bold Alligator 17.
