Of the above eleven structures, two were reconstructions of existing,inadequate subways, one was on an entirely new line, and eight elimi-nated grade crossings. In addition, five grade were eliminatedby relocation of the liighway. On June 30,1928, there remained approxi-mately two hundred and sixty grade crossings of the state highwayover main line tracks and something over one hundred grade spur or switch tracks. The progress in the elimination of grade crossings is duel)rimarily to the additional funds now available from the gas DIVISION OP llIGnWAYS 67.
