An historic sketch showing the old Grammar School in Church Street, Steyning, Sussex. It was founded and endowed as a grammar school in 1614 by William Holland, Alderman of Chichester. Once the only state school in West Sussex, it still caters for boarders (as well as day pupils). Though this building is planned to be sold (2020) there are other buildings elsewhere attached to the school.
