A cased percussion shotgun, Henry Nock, London, circa 1800. Browned Damascus barrel with smooth bore in 16 mm calibre with a patent breech, barrel rib on the bottom, and a silver fore-sight. A star-shaped ornament engraved over the breech and silver bands on the snail. Numbered "4344" on the bottom. Converted percussion lock lightly engraved with floral designs and signed "H. NOCK". Beautiful walnut half stock with a blued iron nose cap and a chequered small of the stock. Engraved iron furniture, silver escutcheon chiselled with a coat of arms. Length 117 cm. I,
