Weatherly, the outgoing commander, Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON 4), with a Legion of Merit during a change of command ceremony aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Capt. Jack L. Killman relieved Weatherly. PHIBRON 4 is composed of Iwo Jima, the transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21) and the dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51).
