Royal Mail flew a vintage Tiger Moth, carrying a symbolic bag of mail, from Headcorn Airfield in Kent to Le Touquet in France as part of the Royal Mail's celebration of 500 years of postal services. The Royal Mail branded Tiger Moth biplane carried a special mail bag of letters from UK school children as well as a personal letter from Royal Mail CEO Moya Greene to La Poste CEO Philippe Wahl. Pilot Jeremy Britcher and Postman David Brunger smiling before takeoff.
