The Philippine Marine Corps recently purchased amphibious assault vehicles and are working with Marines to learn different amphibious procedures – such as hand signaling, egress training, and water operations. I think it’s important to maintain these relationships with our allies,” said Fahrner, an AAV crewman and Belleville, New Jersey native. He is with 1st platoon, Charlie Co., 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion attached to Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division through the unit deployment program.
