210614-N-NS063-2054 YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 14, 2021) – Randall Baucom, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka’s (CFAY) public affairs officer, explains the historical significance of the installation’s dry docks to Phillipe Setton, French ambassador to Japan, during a tour of the base. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
