Proboscis fully developed ; palpi obliquely u]ituriied, short, hardly reaching to middle of frons ;uid slightly fringed with bair iu front.; frons with rounded corneous prominence with raised edges and corneous piate below it; ej^es large, round ; antennte of male laminate and almost simple; tborax clothed with rougli hair and scales mixed, the pro- and metathorax with spreading crests ; tibite slightly fringed with hair; abdomen without crests. Fore wing with the apex rounded, the termen evenly curved and not creuulate ; veins 3 and 5 from near angle of cell; 6 from upper angle ; 9 from 10 anastomosing with 8 to Corm
