Even the most prosaic objects can reveal fascinating depths. This started as an image of a manhole cover on the platform of Radley Railway Station. But then I got adventurous and turned it into something more colourful and abstract, using a combination of Photoshop techniques including image folding, rotation, multi-layer blending, transformations and gradient mapping.
