A miquelet flintlock rifle, decorated in silver, Ottoman, dated 1825 Octagonal barrel (from the 17th century) with smooth bore in 18 mm caliber and a swamped muzzle. The top of the barrel is chiselled in arabesques inlaid with gold (somewhat worn). Almost the entire surface of the Miquelet lock is covered with floral silver inlay (thumb piece for the cock missing). The typical maple full stock with walnut butt is richly decorated with engraved silver. The maker's stamp and date "1241" (= 1825) is on the small of the stock. Iron ramrod.
