Basket ball has proved immensely popular, and at the closeof the last season the I. S. A. A. found itself with a surplus of$300 on hand. This sum, after deducting a sufficient reserve tomeet the requirements of opening the next season, was dividedbetween the treasuries of the respective schools and clubs in theleague. There has been some complaint and dissatisfaction on thepart of the members of some of the teams, growing out of therestrictions put upon them, but the Association feels sure thatwhen
