Ambassador to the Federated States of Micronesia, Robert Riley, Col. Matthew Nicholson, 36th Wing vice commander, Col. Otis Jones, 374th Airlift Wing commander, and others make the ceremonial push of the the first pallet to kick-off Operation Christmas Drop at Andersen Air Force Base December 9, 2019 in Agafo Gumas, Guam. Over the past 68-years, the Air Force Operation Christmas Drop has been providing critical supplies to 56 Micronesian islands, impacting approximately 20,000 people across an million square nautical miles area.
