With wealth, power and pleasure, the devil seduces man; Utility of hope of money. The devil paints the image of a bag of money, a naked woman and a few crowns and skeptists on a big human heart. A young man looks fascinated, and does not notice that a naked woman knits a rope on his foot. For example, humans (the young man) is bound by his desire to worldly things. In a cartouche at the bottom of the print a Dutch caption on rhyme. The print is part of a four-part series about the uselessness of hope of money and other secular matters.
